Jonathan Allen went 3-for-3 with a double as Ramsay stopped Wenonah, 12-2, in a Class 5A, Area 9 game.

Ramsay (9-11, 5-1) took control of the game with three runs in the bottom of the first inning, then put the game away with four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth.

Justin Wiley had two hits, three runs scored and two stolen bases for the Rams. Leland Johnson scored three times and Cedric Riggins drove in two RBIs.

Jamarkus Drayton hit a double for the Dragons in the second inning.

Leland Johnson (3-0) worked four innings to earn the win, giving up one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five. Losing pitcher Ted Garner walked two and struck out one.  Complete article
